We heard that Steve Harvey just launched a Women’s collection starting at size 8 to 24. His line is exclusively sold at K&G stores. So we went to the store in Oakland, CA on August 22 the day after it launched in stores.
The collection ranges from 19.99 to 49.99. Most of the fabric for the collection is polyester blend material. It’s not the most luxury line of clothes but its pretty decent for the price range. The two color blocking dresses were our favorites. The fabric felt like it would last for a long time and the pattern complements any body type.
Unfortunately we noticed a lot of loose strings on the hems and loose buttons on many items. The Line will need to get a handle on Quality Control. K&G stores have many great affordable options. While we came to shop and check out Steve Harvey’s line it did not impress us. Roseanna originally saw the picture online of the 2-piece suit, but once she tried it on she mentioned that the top didn’t fit comfortably and it felt like a cheap suit that would not be worth dry cleaning. Now Roseanna did love the “look” of the lepoard jacket, but again in person it just looked really “Cheesy” or “Cheap”. Ultimately I only purchased the Blue and Black Color blocking dress for $39.99. I may go back to purchase the other colorful blocking dress.
Also, note that if you are larger than a size 12 be prepared to pay an additional $10 for your outfit (I paid $39.99 I am a size 10/12 but if you are 14 and up you would have paid $49.99) Despite the cost of extra material for making Plus Size clothes I believe that each piece should be the same price (Do you pay more money for a size 7 shoes compared to a size 10? NO) The line is from size 8-24 but we noticed that at this particular store location it lacked larger sizes and had limited selection in sizes larger than 16. If you cater to size 8-24 you should have equal amount available for all sizes.
We love that Steve Harvey decided to launch a line that caters to women sizes 8-24. We hope that his company strives to make quality, fashion forward pieces at affordable prices. Check out our pictures and video below.

I love this article! I had mix feeling when I heard he was coming out with a women clothing line. Its like OK your book did good, movie was a great success but for him to think he know woman taste in fashion you got a lot to learn. Point is this is not my kind of fashion from the things I seen so far they look very cheap and tasteless. Kind of put together I’m just not a fan of this line. (Right now)
I couldn’t agree more. I was really impressed with the “look,” but the price didn’t meet the quality. The belts in particular already had loose stitching and the earrings were already tarnishing.
I knew there would be issues when I first saw the words “illusion pockets”.
i LOVE THE FACT THAT ANOTHER BLACK MAN IS DOING SOMETHG. STEVE HAS HIS HANDS ON A LIL OF EVERYTHING I MEAN REALLY THE RADIO TV SHOW BOOKS MOVIES MEN AND WOMEN CLOTHING LINE. IM SURE THE LINE WILL GET BETTER IN TIME HE HAS THREE DAUGHTERS AND A WIFE..HE KNOW WHAT HE DOING.COMIMG OUT THE A WOMEN CLOTHUNG LINE
