Hey ladies, I am going to take you on a journey of my hair. I have had a  perm  my hair since I was 14 year of age I luv’d it. As I got older I started to color my hair,rewind to 2012 It has been some time that I have not taken care of my hair like I am suppose to you know what I’m talking about ladies running out of the house with a pony tail ect,, not giving my hair nourishment ( conditioner treatment,trimming ect). So recently I looked in the mirror and said to myself ” Wow my hair is brittle and falling off in between places”. So I said to myself ” I am going to get back on track with taking care of my hair. Ladies I will have to mention this no matter if you have a perm,natural,ect bottom line is you still have to take care of your hair and maintain it, I hear some ladies say ” oh I have a perm I just wake up and go or I have a natural I just wake up and go ” bottom line what ever hair style you have take care of it!!. So I fell upon a treatment called “Keratin treatment” I checked out some you tube videos ect and it sounded very interesting. For ladies that don’t know what that is :Great Vista Chemicals describes keratin as a protein used by animals which is found in epidermal cells, but is the main component of human hair. Keratin molecules are fibrous and form strands referred to as intermediate filaments. They are tough and protect against damage, like on the feathers in birds. By using products with keratin on hair, you are adding more of this strengthening element and making it tougher

So I contacted a shop in Oakland ca called “The Beauty Box” on santa clara ave, oakland ca. I was a little hesitant because a lot of times I did not want to go to a hair shop because I would not feel comfortable their you may hear all types of things such as baby daddy drama,gossip,basically a unplesant atmosphere. When I entered in the the shop or I would call a cute bungalow cottage, it was beautiful colors red,grey,black decorated very nice.  When I walked in she was on the phone and told the person on the phone that she had to go and introduced herself to me. I felt comfortable right away. She explained the process to me in detail. She charges $150 for first time customers and $200 for the next visit. You would get the treatment done every 3 months.
